How Meimay handles local data, optional analytics, account sync and external searches.

Local data
Learning history, settings and Mechanism Studio projects stay in the browser unless the user explicitly starts cloud sync. Browser data clearing or device failure can remove them.
Optional analytics
Analytics do not load before consent. Answers, chemical names, structures and Studio project contents are not sent to analytics. Consent can be withdrawn in settings.
Accounts and cloud sync
Where account services are configured, an authentication provider processes sign-in information. Meimay sends only the learning history or projects the user chooses to sync, and account-sync consent is required.
External services
Using PubChem search sends the entered search term to PubChem. Ordinary lesson answers and structures are not sent to PubChem.
Deletion
Cloud account deletion applies to cloud data and does not automatically erase browser data. Local data can be removed through browser settings or each feature's reset and delete controls.
